As a tutor, my aim is to make learning engaging and fun for the young people in my classes and tutoring sessions. I am certified as an educator and have been a teacher for more than six years. I have taught Elementary Language Arts and Elementary Math, working with students at all academic levels. I have enjoyed many successes in helping my students learn and I take great pride in my teaching.I am available to tutor Elementary Math, Grammar and Mechanics, Reading, Writing, Phonics, Math, and English. Of those subjects, my favorites are Writing and Reading. I love not only teaching children to read and write, but also helping them develop a real love for those subjects that will last a lifetime. I challenge myself personally to help my students find that love.I graduated from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, Mississippi, and I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and Boston, Massachusetts. In my spare time, I enjoy reading.
