In 2005 I started my undergrad degree at the University of Colorado where I majored in elementary education. As part of the program I became involved in student teaching, primarily in an international school at the first grade level. After graduation, I started at the University of Houston and earned my certifications in both EC-4 and ESL while obtaining my master's of education degree. I truly enjoy working with children of various backgrounds, and feel that my experience both traveling and living in other countries has given me the necessary knowledge and outlook to really understand a child's mind and help them develop a great love for educational learning. Helping a child gain a solid education I believe is a large part in helping them develop into the person they were meant to become. In my limited spare time I continue to enjoy traveling, as well as keeping my mind and body strong through hiking, reading, and taking Zumba.
